Google has just announced that as of August 1 Goggle Apps will no longer support Firefox 3.5, Internet Explorer 7 and Safari 3. This is a major move for Google to no longer support the old versions of these browsers.
Google explains that their applications available in their Application Suite do not work as well with these older browsers and in the end affect the user in a negative experience with the application. Google warns users that Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Talk, Google Docs and Google Sites will eventually stop working if they continue to use the older browsers.
Current releases of Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer and Safari will still be supported by Google. Each time a new version of one of these browsers is released, Google will support the update and will stop supporting the third-oldest version.
